Your Dog Shampoo Could Cause Skin Irritation

Posted by Kimberly on July 4th, 2009

Is your dog itching, scratching and stinking beyond belief?

Do you?

Wash your dog one day, just to have the stink return the next?
What is terrible right now in our area is that it’s been raining like cats & dogs!!! Our dogs come in full of mud on their feet or grass pieces and that means we need to get out that dog shampoo so they can be bathed or at least rinsed off…Then, sometimes, they get that “wet dog” smell…they can’t help it, they’re dogs!

Wait weeks between bathing your dog because his skin gets so dry and flaky?
Certain breeds of dog, including some terrier, have quite sensitive skin – just like humans with sensitive skin. Every dog is different and their skin condition can change throughout the seasons. If you notice your dog wth dry, flaky skin, it could be from a number of different reasons…Bites, allergies, even a sensitivity to shampoos or conditioners you may use on them.

Hate bathing your dog because you rinse and rinse and rinse…and still can’t get him completely rinsed?
Even when you think you’ve completely rinsed your pooch of shampoo, rinse them one more time to be sure they’re completely free of soap – this can make their skin very irritated, making it dry, itchy and then they can get stinky from any scratches or wounds they may have.

DogOSudsNeed help? Why not try the all natural dog shampoo, Dogosuds, made by Dinovite.

Dogosuds is a natural flea deterrent, gets your dog smelling fabulous for a longer period of time than other shampoos (and from what I’ve heard, it works well on skunk odor), it lathers well and rinses easily, contains 100% pure essential oils that are proven to be naturally healing, and it’s great even for dogs with sensitive skin.

It has no chemicals, perfumes or fillers that can harm your pooch.

Isn’t it time for that new dog smell?
