What if Something Happens to Me? My Dogs Need Me!
Posted by Kimberly on 17th April 2009
Just because your terriers aren’t children, they’re still our babies and we treat them as such.
I know it’s crossed your mind before…”What if something happens to me?”
Then, you think…”My dogs need me!”
We don’t have children yet, so our 3 miniature schnauzers are our children! Some people who do have human children still take their pets lives as a precious part of the family.

The best way to counteract this issue of having something happen to you is to keep yourself healthy – stay fit, improve your nutrition, take your vitamins, prevent possible health problems.
This may sound funny to some people, but to many of us animal lovers out there, this is real. For many people, their animals are one of the only things that gets them up in the morning and sane during the day!
We’ve had dogs in our lives for 18 yrs twice, a cat for 24 yrs – this is a real committment.
Now, I say all of this to tell you about Cryo-Cell , in case you haven’t heard of it before.
When you have a child – a human child, that is – you can have the umbilical cord blood collected and saved in order to harvest stem cells that could potentially save your child, you and 1st degree immediate relatives. Also, there is now the ability to collect stem cells in menstrual blood yourself in the privacy of your own home.
These types of stem cells have serious potential to help save people from Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s just to name a few.
Yes, it can save you and your own children…Check out this testimonial:
“My children are the most precious gifts that I will ever have and I want to do everything I can to make sure they are well. While I was pregnant with my first child, I would see articles and ads about cord blood and it bothered me that it was so expensive but what if I one day needed this blood. The reality of having only one chance or it really went in the garbage kept me wondering if I would regret not investing. What if he had cancer or his dad or I were sick, would that blood have been the cure? Through research, I came across Cryo-Cell International, Inc., a company with the most reasonable rates and the assurance of two holding facilities.
When I was pregnant with my second child, we wondered if one bank was enough? Finances were tighter and should we spend the money? Then we realized that his brothers blood might not match for the new baby. The next day, stories were breaking about how Cord blood had saved or changed the lives of children, one cancer, one cerebral palsy. Then we discovered that a friend was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. He didn’t bank his daughters blood and wished he had. Three years prior, I lost a friend to renal cancer when she was 29. We felt like it was our answer.
We are just beginning to see miracles that this blood can bring. We have two “life insurance policies”, that is how we look at it. If anyone in the family gets ill, there is a chance that the blood could save our lives. If we don’t use it, then it is there for our son’s children.”
Sincerely,
mother of Parker and DavisCryo-Cell International Client”
Now, if you enroll by 04/19/2009, you’ll get a free Baby Bjorn – a baby carrier. I use these to carry around my male mini schnauzer when the girls are in heat or the girls to keep them away from Kaptain at that time too…LOL…
Anyway, apart from the obvious reason to help save you and your immediate loved ones…
…Your pets adore you – you are their whole world! Stick around, enjoy them and let them enjoy their lives with you to the fullest!
Imagine if they could start to do this to help animals too…People would do anything for their pets to save their lives!!!
Be prepared and take care!
