Terrier Announcement:
This is the newest addition to our extended family! My mother just adopted a little girl, miniature schnauzer from the breeder we got our 4 from. (Yes, we are all Terrier Crazy!)
Her official name is “My Precious Princess”, but she’ll be Precious for short!
We mulled over so many names, but came back to the 1st name mom chose in the beginning…Precious!
Isn’t she darling? She was born on 7/24/2007 and is still in Texas, but will be home soon to meet her new mommy!
My husband took these amazing photos of her yesterday and emailed them to us…So exciting!
She can’t really crunch hard dog food yet, but she is trying to steal our Knosey’s big dog food anyway…She has a great appetite and is eating soft puppy food, cottage cheese and gets 2 daily dosages of liquid vitamins!

Kenney reported this morning that she snuggled with Knosey and Kenney all night on her 1st night away from the breeder.
Since last year, at about this time, when we adopted our Knosey and Kurious, this breeder has since stopped docking the ears on their miniature schnauzers, as they feel it is inhumane. Knosey & Kurious’ ears are docked, but as you can see, Ms. Precious’ ears are not docked. They still dock the tails, and remove the dew claws.
Kaptain, on the other hand, was the 1st miniature schnauzer we adopted from this breeder, and he only has his tail docked. He still has his full ears and dew claws. However, unlike most schnauzers with undocked ears, Kaptain’s do not flop over ever! He has amazing control of them. 
What a beautiful addition to our family! Welcome Ingrid’s My Precious Princess! Now, let’s hope that mom’s Westie-Poo, Sugar, loves her like a baby…
